Just because National Car Care Month in April has come to an end, it doesn’t mean you can’t still participate in the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign! Here are things you can do in June!

• Encourage your customers to be prepared for the summer driving season! The Car Care Council has tips for summer driving, with press releases for consumers that include caring for your car during summer and gas saving tips. You may also want to share our gas saving tips video with your customers. Also, make sure they know that, as they prepare for their summer vacation, they don’t have to take their vehicle back to the dealership for warranty work! More information can be found here.

• Purchase and distribute the Car Care Guide to your customers. The Car Care Guide, which recently won an international “Award of Excellence,” is now available electronically online and includes important maintenance tips on your battery, as well as the engine cooling system.

• Start thinking about Fall Car Care Month. It is never too early to start planning for Fall Car Care Month in October!
