Just because National Car Care Month in April has come to an end, it doesn’t mean you can’t still participate in the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign! Here are things you can do in May!

• Don’t forget to send your inspection forms to the Car Care Council. The yellow page of the triplicate inspection form from April events should be submitted by June 1, and for fall events by Dec. 1. It is very important to submit forms to the Car Care Council as the data is then compiled, summarized and distributed in our annual car care statistics. Please return forms to: Marcella Tilli, Car Care Council, 7101 Wisconsin Ave., Suite 1300, Bethesda, MD 20814. As a thank you for submitting your forms, you’ll receive a “Certificate of Participation” to proudly display in your business.

• Encourage your customers to start getting ready for the summer driving season! The Car Care Council has tips for summer driving, with press releases for consumers about being careful around road construction and the benefits of driving vs. flying for family vacations. Also, make sure your customers know that, as they prepare for their summer vacation, they don’t have to take their vehicle back to the dealership for warranty work! • Start thinking about Fall Car Care Month. It is never too early to start planning for Fall Car Care Month in October!
