WB President Katie Noga, SKF, welcomed attendees to the Women’s Board (WB) 2010 summer meeting.


 

Beth Skove, chair, Recruitment and New Members Committee, introduced new members to the meeting.


Shelby Wyatt, Kenywood Academy, provoked discussion on how to get more students interested in careers in the automotive aftermarket.


 

 

Chuck Udell, Essential Action Design Group, followed up with an update on Aftermarket Recruitment Week.


 

Mike McCool, Freeman Co., presented "Minimizing Logistics and Maximizing Sales Opportunities," focusing on trade shows such as AAPEX.


 

John Passante, Brenton Productions, discussed negotiation tactics.


 

 

Meeting attendees enjoyed a group dinner at 437 Rush.


Lori Taylor, REV Media Marketing presented social media tips and discussed the latest trends in new media.


 

Leadership development and succession plans were discussed by Richard Bowen, ExxonMobil.


 

Nancy Andersen, Robert Bosch, LLC, gave WB members some insight with "Recruiting the Right Employees."


Jennifer Tio, Maximum Marketing, gave an update on the "Be Car Care Aware" consumer education campaign.


 

Patty Kettles, AIA Canada, gave an update on their "Be Car Care Aware" efforts.
